ORDINATION TO THE DIACONATE

On Sunday, July 7th 2024, the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM), ordained two of their brothers, Br. Rikardus Jaya Gabut and Br. Wilibaldus Claudius Koban, to the Order of Deacons. The Diaconate Ordination Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul at 10am. Cardinal Giorgio Marengo, IMC, Apostolic Prefect of Ulaanbaatar, was the ordaining prelate. Communities from Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, Good Shepherd Parish, and St. Thomas Aquinas Church joined for the Holy Mass. The ceremony was followed by a festive gathering which included performances of song and dance put on by the young people and children of these parishes.
