Pastoral week 2024 schedule announced

The "Pastoral Week”, empowering missionaries and lay collaborators in the Catholic Mission in Mongolia, is going to be held for the 5th year. This program is one of the multifaceted activities planned and implemented within the framework of the goal of imparting religious knowledge and skills, spirituality, and unity through different religious beliefs.

The previous pastoral week In June 2023, it was under the theme of "Mary". This year’s theme is “SYNOD, SAFEGUARDING, INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE”. It will be from May 8 to 11, 2024, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul.
This year's pastoral week will be taught by qualified speakers on "Precautionary Measures” from the Philippines, namely Fr. John Era, SM and Fr. Eugene Kaneta, MJ. Participants will have a practical training in collective policy development based on the Catholic situation in Mongolia. The topic of interreligious dialogue, will be conducted by Italian nun and an honored guest, Sr. Maria De Giorgi, MMX it will focus on challenges and realities in areas where Buddhism is widespread.
