Religious brothers and sisters in Apostolic Prefecture of Ulaanbaatar gathered to celebrate World Day for Consecrated Life.

The celebration of the World Day for Consecrated Life, which is observed for the first time on 2 February. Religious brothers and sisters Apostolic Prefecture of Ulaanbaatar gathered to celebrate it in Apostolic Prefectural Office with the theme “Consecrated life: a gift to the church in Mongolia”.  This year's gathering was initiated by Cardinal Giorgio Marengo, and he was also the guest of honor and shared a thoughtful and reflective message with the missionaries.  He says “What is the essential core of this multiform variety of Consecrated Life? We could say that it is putting Christ at the center and freely choosing to lead a life of total self-giving to Him, in full conformity with the lifestyle He has assumed”.
